# Frames vs ImproSnap

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: ImproSnap at 17.0 against Frames's 26.0. On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Frames sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and ImproSnap sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Frames ships an update every 6 weeks, ImproSnap every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
