# Frames vs Relikr

The clearest difference is ads: Frames at none against Relikr's shown. Relikr's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 6 months) and iOS requirement (16.4 vs 26.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Frames sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Relikr sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Frames ships an update every 6 months, Relikr every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on September 22, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
