# Cast vs Holy Instant

The clearest difference is update cadence: Holy Instant at every 2 days against Cast's every 10 days. Cast's advantage is ratings volume (5 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 26.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Cast against 5.0 for Holy Instant. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Cast has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Cast ships an update every 10 days, Holy Instant every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
