# Cast vs Koham

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Cast at none against Koham's 1. Cast also leads on ratings volume (5 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 27.0). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Koham sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Cast asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Cast against 5.0 for Koham. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Cast has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Cast ships an update every 10 days, Koham weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
