# Igloo vs OnlyPals

The clearest difference is rating: OnlyPals at 5.0 against Igloo's 3.7. OnlyPals also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs every 2 weeks). Igloo's advantage is ratings volume (119 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Igloo sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and OnlyPals sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

OnlyPals holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Igloo has 119 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Igloo ships an update every 2 weeks, OnlyPals every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
