# Flash Maker vs AozStats

The clearest difference is rating: AozStats at 3.5 against Flash Maker's 1.9. AozStats also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs monthly). Flash Maker's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 12) and ratings volume (453 vs 2). On price and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AozStats sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Flash Maker asks for nothing beyond the download.

AozStats holds the better App Store score, 3.5 against 1.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Flash Maker has 453 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 17% of Flash Maker's written reviews are positive against 0% of AozStats's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Flash Maker ships an update monthly, AozStats every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
