# Flash Maker vs Card

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Card at 100% against Flash Maker's 17%. Card also leads on rating (5.0 vs 2.0) and update cadence (every 10 days vs monthly). Flash Maker's advantage is ratings volume (630 vs 2) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Card holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Flash Maker has 630 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 17% of Flash Maker's written reviews are positive against 100% of Card's.

Flash Maker ships an update monthly, Card every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
