# GolfCam vs GolfBetter

The clearest difference is review sentiment: GolfBetter at 100% against GolfCam's 50%. GolfBetter also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7). GolfCam's advantage is ratings volume (560 vs 7) and chart position (#116 vs unranked). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GolfCam sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and GolfBetter sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

GolfBetter holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GolfCam has 560 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 50% of GolfCam's written reviews are positive against 100% of GolfBetter's.

GolfCam ships an update fortnightly, GolfBetter weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 8, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
