# Video Save vs Proxy Browser

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Proxy Browser at 75% against Video Save's 39%. Proxy Browser also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 2) and update cadence (daily vs monthly). Video Save's advantage is ratings volume (6.4K vs 355) and rating (4.5 vs 4.3). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Video Save sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Proxy Browser asks for nothing beyond the download.

Video Save holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Video Save has 6.4K ratings behind it against 355, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 39% of Video Save's written reviews are positive against 75% of Proxy Browser's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Video Save ships an update monthly, Proxy Browser daily. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
