# Lynx® Drive vs TarraBot Pro

The clearest difference is update cadence: TarraBot Pro at every 5 weeks against Lynx® Drive's every 6 months. TarraBot Pro also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.6). Lynx® Drive's advantage is ratings volume (7 vs 1). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Lynx® Drive against 5.0 for TarraBot Pro. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Lynx® Drive has 7 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Lynx® Drive ships an update every 6 months, TarraBot Pro every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
