# Fitdrop vs Streetpass

The clearest difference is rating: Fitdrop at 3.9 against Streetpass's 3.5. Fitdrop also leads on ratings volume (135 vs 2). Streetpass's advantage is review sentiment (79% vs 68%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fitdrop sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Streetpass sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Fitdrop holds the better App Store score, 3.9 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Fitdrop has 135 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 68% of Fitdrop's written reviews are positive against 79% of Streetpass's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Fitdrop ships an update fortnightly, Streetpass every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
