# Fitdrop vs Sparkx Fly

The clearest difference is rating: Sparkx Fly at 4.2 against Fitdrop's 3.9. Sparkx Fly also leads on update cadence (every 6 days vs fortnightly) and iOS requirement (14.0.0 vs 16.4). Fitdrop's advantage is ratings volume (134 vs 19). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fitdrop sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Sparkx Fly sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Sparkx Fly holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Fitdrop has 134 ratings behind it against 19, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 68% of Fitdrop's written reviews are positive against 67% of Sparkx Fly's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Fitdrop ships an update fortnightly, Sparkx Fly every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
