# Fitdrop vs Stargaze Stage

The clearest difference is rating: Stargaze Stage at 5.0 against Fitdrop's 3.9. Stargaze Stage also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 3). Fitdrop's advantage is ratings volume (135 vs 3) and review sentiment (68% vs 50%). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fitdrop sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Stargaze Stage asks for nothing beyond the download.

Stargaze Stage holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Fitdrop has 135 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 68% of Fitdrop's written reviews are positive against 50% of Stargaze Stage's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
