# Fitdrop vs Slapp

The clearest difference is rating: Slapp at 5.0 against Fitdrop's 3.9. Slapp also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Fitdrop's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (68% vs 50%). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fitdrop sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Slapp sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Slapp holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Fitdrop has 135 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 68% of Fitdrop's written reviews are positive against 50% of Slapp's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Fitdrop ships an update fortnightly, Slapp weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
