# Fitdrop vs Pulsur

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Pulsur at none against Fitdrop's 3. Fitdrop's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (134 vs 14). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fitdrop sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Pulsur asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 3.9 for Fitdrop against 3.9 for Pulsur. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Fitdrop has 134 ratings behind it against 14, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 68% of Fitdrop's written reviews are positive against 75% of Pulsur's.

Fitdrop ships an update fortnightly, Pulsur every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
