# Da'Partments vs Ucult

The clearest difference is rating: Da'Partments at 5.0 against Ucult's 3.1. Da'Partments also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription). Ucult's advantage is update cadence (monthly vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (47 vs 3). On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Da'Partments sells 6 one-off in-app purchases and Ucult sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Da'Partments holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ucult has 47 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Da'Partments ships an update every 4 months, Ucult monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
