# LinkBack vs SnakCam

The clearest difference is rating: SnakCam at 5.0 against LinkBack's 2.9. SnakCam also leads on iOS requirement (10.0 vs 15.0). LinkBack's advantage is update cadence (every 8 days vs monthly) and ratings volume (13 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SnakCam holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: LinkBack has 13 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

LinkBack ships an update every 8 days, SnakCam monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
