# True Trainer vs FitFlex Acro

True Trainer and FitFlex Acro both sit at 5.0 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of FitFlex Acro's written reviews are positive against 80% of True Trainer's. FitFlex Acro also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). True Trainer's advantage is ratings volume (11 vs 1). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. True Trainer sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and FitFlex Acro sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for True Trainer against 5.0 for FitFlex Acro. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: True Trainer has 11 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 80% of True Trainer's written reviews are positive against 100% of FitFlex Acro's.

True Trainer ships an update every 2 weeks, FitFlex Acro every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
