# PicIn vs CubeAni

The clearest difference is rating: PicIn at 5.0 against CubeAni's 4.0. PicIn also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription). CubeAni's advantage is ratings volume (8 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PicIn sells 8 one-off in-app purchases and CubeAni sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PicIn holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CubeAni has 8 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
