# SmartSolve vs AskCuddy

The clearest difference is ads: AskCuddy at none against SmartSolve's shown. AskCuddy also leads on rating (4.8 vs 4.6) and update cadence (every 5 days vs fortnightly). SmartSolve's advantage is ratings volume (3.7K vs 20). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SmartSolve sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and AskCuddy sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AskCuddy holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SmartSolve has 3.7K ratings behind it against 20, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 66% and 67% positive.

SmartSolve ships an update fortnightly, AskCuddy every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
