# B vs EffectDeck

The clearest difference is review sentiment: EffectDeck at 96% against B's 43%. EffectDeck also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (12 vs 2). B's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 27.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

B holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: EffectDeck has 12 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 43% of B's written reviews are positive against 96% of EffectDeck's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

B ships an update every 4 months, EffectDeck every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
