# Protect My Choices vs scour.com

The clearest difference is rating: Protect My Choices at 3.2 against scour.com's 2.3. Protect My Choices also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 6) and ratings volume (94 vs 3). scour.com's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 18%). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. scour.com sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Protect My Choices asks for nothing beyond the download.

Protect My Choices holds the better App Store score, 3.2 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Protect My Choices has 94 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 18% of Protect My Choices's written reviews are positive against 50% of scour.com's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Protect My Choices ships an update fortnightly, scour.com every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on November 8, 2026.
