# Anime AR vs Pentrix

The clearest difference is ads: Pentrix at none against Anime AR's shown. Pentrix also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 3 weeks). Anime AR's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Anime AR sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and Pentrix sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
