# BufferIt vs Fishing Action Camera

The clearest difference is monetization model: Fishing Action Camera at free against BufferIt's free with in-app purchases. Fishing Action Camera also leads on ratings volume (16 vs 1). BufferIt's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 85%). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BufferIt sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $1.99 per month and Fishing Action Camera sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for BufferIt against 5.0 for Fishing Action Camera. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Fishing Action Camera has 16 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 100% of BufferIt's written reviews are positive against 85% of Fishing Action Camera's.

BufferIt ships an update every 8 days, Fishing Action Camera every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on September 26, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
