# Finsta vs CloudAnime

The clearest difference is monetization model: CloudAnime at free with in-app purchases against Finsta's subscription. CloudAnime also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Finsta's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (295 vs 2). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Finsta sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $3.99 per month and CloudAnime sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CloudAnime holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Finsta has 295 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Finsta ships an update monthly, CloudAnime every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
