# Snapcut vs Keepers

The clearest difference is price: Keepers at Free against Snapcut's $1.99. Keepers also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (10 vs 1). Snapcut's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 7 months) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 18.0). On rating, review sentiment, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Keepers is free to download; Snapcut costs $1.99 up front. Snapcut sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Keepers sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Snapcut against 5.0 for Keepers. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Keepers has 10 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Snapcut ships an update every 5 days, Keepers every 7 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
