# RefreshRate vs Secury

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Secury at none against RefreshRate's 6. Secury also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). RefreshRate's advantage is update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 3 months). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. RefreshRate sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Secury asks for nothing beyond the download.

RefreshRate ships an update every 5 weeks, Secury every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
