# Fall Words vs Sortcery

The clearest difference is update cadence: Sortcery at fortnightly against Fall Words's monthly. Fall Words's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fall Words sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Sortcery sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Fall Words ships an update monthly, Sortcery fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
