# SAMOKO vs Capybara Friends

The clearest difference is rating: SAMOKO at 5.0 against Capybara Friends's 4.0. SAMOKO also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 69%) and update cadence (weekly vs fortnightly). Capybara Friends's advantage is ratings volume (110 vs 1) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SAMOKO sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Capybara Friends sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SAMOKO holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Capybara Friends has 110 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 100% of SAMOKO's written reviews are positive against 69% of Capybara Friends's.

SAMOKO ships an update weekly, Capybara Friends fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
