# Draw AI vs StepFun

The clearest difference is rating: Draw AI at 5.0 against StepFun's 4.3. StepFun's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (50% vs 20%). On price, ratings volume, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Draw AI sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and StepFun sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Draw AI holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 9 and 8 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 20% of Draw AI's written reviews are positive against 50% of StepFun's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Draw AI ships an update every 3 weeks, StepFun every 9 days. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
