# Carly vs Mootery

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Carly at 58% against Mootery's 14%. Mootery's advantage is rating (2.4 vs 1.0) and ratings volume (45 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Mootery holds the better App Store score, 2.4 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mootery has 45 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 58% of Carly's written reviews are positive against 14% of Mootery's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly fortnightly. Both last shipped on November 4, 2026.
