# Alix Mobile vs Subpilot

The clearest difference is rating: Subpilot at 4.6 against Alix Mobile's 4.0. Subpilot also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs every 5 weeks) and ratings volume (6.1K vs 4). Alix Mobile's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 10). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Subpilot sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Alix Mobile asks for nothing beyond the download.

Subpilot holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Subpilot has 6.1K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.
