# AI Keyboard Pro vs CleverType

The clearest difference is rating: AI Keyboard Pro at 4.7 against CleverType's 4.1. AI Keyboard Pro also leads on ratings volume (1.5K vs 149). CleverType's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AI Keyboard Pro sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and CleverType sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AI Keyboard Pro holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AI Keyboard Pro has 1.5K ratings behind it against 149, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 67% of AI Keyboard Pro's written reviews are positive against 65% of CleverType's.

AI Keyboard Pro ships an update every 2 months, CleverType fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
