# OtherNet vs Web Privacy & Control

The clearest difference is ads: OtherNet at none against Web Privacy & Control's shown. OtherNet also leads on iOS requirement (15.6 vs 18.6). Web Privacy & Control's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. OtherNet sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and Web Privacy & Control sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

OtherNet ships an update every 3 weeks, Web Privacy & Control weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
