# pOpshelf vs Vista Auction

The clearest difference is monetization model: Vista Auction at free against pOpshelf's free with in-app purchases. pOpshelf's advantage is ratings volume (20K vs 2.7K). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for pOpshelf against 4.8 for Vista Auction. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: pOpshelf has 20K ratings behind it against 2.7K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 44% of pOpshelf's written reviews are positive against 41% of Vista Auction's.

pOpshelf ships an update monthly, Vista Auction fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
