# Mindless vs Hey Me

The clearest difference is rating: Hey Me at 5.0 against Mindless's 4.5. Mindless's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mindless sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $10.99 per month and Hey Me sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Hey Me holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mindless has 13 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Mindless ships an update weekly, Hey Me every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
