# Mindless vs Snaptek

The clearest difference is rating: Snaptek at 5.0 against Mindless's 4.5. Snaptek also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs weekly). Mindless's advantage is monetization model (free vs freemium) and ratings volume (13 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mindless sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $10.99 per month and Snaptek sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 3 months. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Snaptek holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mindless has 13 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Mindless ships an update weekly, Snaptek every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
