# Simple Notes vs Easy

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Easy at none against Simple Notes's 1. Simple Notes's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 5 months). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Simple Notes sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Easy asks for nothing beyond the download.

Simple Notes ships an update every 2 weeks, Easy every 5 months. Both last shipped on October 27, 2026.
