# InfiniteX2P Pro vs External Display Desktop

The clearest difference is rating: External Display Desktop at 4.2 against InfiniteX2P Pro's 3.0. External Display Desktop also leads on ratings volume (19 vs 2) and iOS requirement (17.6 vs 26.2). InfiniteX2P Pro's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 61%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. InfiniteX2P Pro sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month and External Display Desktop sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

External Display Desktop holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: External Display Desktop has 19 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of InfiniteX2P Pro's written reviews are positive against 61% of External Display Desktop's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

InfiniteX2P Pro ships an update every 3 days, External Display Desktop every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
