# YKB vs Dropstep

The clearest difference is ratings volume: YKB at 2.4K against Dropstep's 1. YKB also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). Dropstep's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 4 days). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for YKB against 5.0 for Dropstep. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: YKB has 2.4K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

YKB ships an update every 4 days, Dropstep every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
