# QI Calculator vs About Right

The clearest difference is update cadence: QI Calculator at every 3 weeks against About Right's every 17 months. QI Calculator also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. QI Calculator sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and About Right sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

QI Calculator ships an update every 3 weeks, About Right every 17 months. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
