# Clear30 vs CTRL

The clearest difference is review sentiment: CTRL at 100% against Clear30's 38%. CTRL also leads on monetization model (freemium vs subscription) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Clear30's advantage is ratings volume (3.2K vs 4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Clear30 sells 17 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and CTRL sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CTRL holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Clear30 has 3.2K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 38% of Clear30's written reviews are positive against 100% of CTRL's.
