# Mental Math vs Samurai Reading

The clearest difference is ads: Samurai Reading at none against Mental Math's shown. Samurai Reading also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.2). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mental Math sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Samurai Reading sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
