# Countdown vs Awaited

The clearest difference is ads: Awaited at none against Countdown's shown. Awaited also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 3 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Countdown sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Awaited sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Countdown ships an update every 3 months, Awaited fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
