# Spider Farmer vs IR Sync

The clearest difference is rating: IR Sync at 5.0 against Spider Farmer's 3.1. IR Sync also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 weeks). Spider Farmer's advantage is ratings volume (114 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

IR Sync holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Spider Farmer has 114 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
