# Word vs SubSequence

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: SubSequence at none against Word's 1. SubSequence also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). Word's advantage is ads (none vs shown). On price, rating, review sentiment and ratings volume there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Word sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. SubSequence asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Word against 5.0 for SubSequence. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 5 and 3 respectively. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.
