# Minimal Launcher vs Outloop

The clearest difference is update cadence: Outloop at every 5 days against Minimal Launcher's every 6 weeks. Outloop also leads on iOS requirement (17.0 vs 27.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Minimal Launcher sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Outloop sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Minimal Launcher ships an update every 6 weeks, Outloop every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
