# Jym vs Simple Gym

The clearest difference is update cadence: Simple Gym at every 3 weeks against Jym's every 7 months. Jym's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (16 vs 18.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Jym ships an update every 7 months, Simple Gym every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
