# TikShort vs 7Short

The clearest difference is rating: 7Short at 5.0 against TikShort's 3.4. 7Short also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). TikShort's advantage is update cadence (every 9 days vs every 5 months) and ratings volume (8 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TikShort sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and 7Short sells 8 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

7Short holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TikShort has 8 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

TikShort ships an update every 9 days, 7Short every 5 months. Both last shipped on November 4, 2026.
