# WonderPen vs EncryptaNote

The clearest difference is update cadence: EncryptaNote at every 2 days against WonderPen's fortnightly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. WonderPen sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and EncryptaNote sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

WonderPen ships an update fortnightly, EncryptaNote every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
